To provide a decorative board that has an excellent flame retardancy and anti-staining property, and to provide a method for producing decorative board.SOLUTION: The decorative board 1 of the present invention includes a core material layer 2 containing flame retardant fibers, a base material layer 3 provided on one surface of the core material layer 2, a printing layer 4 provided on the opposite side of the core material layer 2 of the base material layer 3, and a resin layer 5 comprising the printing layer 4 and the base material layer 3 and containing melamine-based resin. Further, the resin layer 5 has a surface layer 51 exposed on the opposite side of the base layer 3 from the printing layer 4, and the minimum thickness of the surface layer 51 is 1 μm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
