To provide a ceramics ball which has high strength and is suitable for bearing ball and the like.SOLUTION: When a cross section passing about center of a ceramics ball is photographed with high dynamic range mode of a digital microscope, the dimension of low coloring area where all values of each element of RGB color model are lower than an average value of the whole cross section by 10 or more in the image is not more than 1/50 of the dimension of the cross section.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】高い強度を有し、ベアリングボール等に好適に用いることができるセラミックスボールを作製する。【解決手段】略中心を通る断面をデジタルマイクロスコープのハイダイナミックレンジモードで撮影した画像において、RGBカラーモデル各要素全ての値が断面全体の平均値に対して10以上低い低発色領域の面積が、前記断面の断面積の1/50以下であるセラミックスボール。【選択図】なし
