To provide an operation device capable of improving the degree of freedom in design when a position switching mechanism capable of switching a position of a press operation body is incorporated.SOLUTION: The operation device comprises: a press operation body that can move in an X direction by receiving a press operation; a position switching mechanism 62 that holds the press operation body so that the position in the X direction can be switched each time the press operation body receives the press operation; a movable body 78 that can move in conjunction with movement of the press operation body in a press direction in which the press operation body is pressed; and a first energization member 66 that can energize the movable body 78 in a direction opposite to a moving direction of the movable body 78 in conjunction with the movement of the press operation body in the press direction, wherein the movable body 78 is held at a fixed position in the X direction by the first energization member 66 regardless of a holding position of the press operation body held by the position switching mechanism 62 when the press operation body is not receiving the press operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
