To provide an auxiliary tool for roof tile laying work for preventing a dangerous substance from falling on the ground during construction of the roof tile.SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool for roof tile laying work is provided with: a belt-like body having a substantially L-shape, the belt-like body having a lower side part, a pair of standing parts rising to a base end side of the lower side part, and a clearance between a pair of standing parts; and an engaging part having a hook piece bent downward and a folded piece bent inward from a lower end of the hook piece at the tip end of the lower side part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
