To provide an easily installable radiation shield board having excellent capability of shielding X-ray and γ ray and required strength, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: There are provided a radiation shield board comprising a gypsum-containing board which is a hardened body of a gypsum-containing composition comprising gypsum, 200 to 400 parts by mass of barium sulfate, 0.7 to 3 parts by mass of a reinforcement fiber, and 0.2 to 0.5 parts by mass of a water-reducing agent relative to 100 parts by mass of gypsum, and a non-flammable fiber sheet at least buried in one face of the gypsum-containing board, and having a relative density of from 1.85 to 2.20; and a method of producing the radiation shield board.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】X線及びγ線の遮蔽能が良好であり、必要な強度を有しながら、容易に設置可能な放射線遮蔽ボード及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】石膏と、石膏100質量部に対して、硫酸バリウムを200質量部〜400質量部と、補強繊維を0.7質量部〜3質量部と、減水剤を0.2質量部〜0.5質量部とを含有する石膏含有組成物硬化体である石膏含有ボード、及び、前記石膏含有ボードの少なくとも一方の面に埋没された不燃性繊維シートを備え、比重が1.85〜2.20である放射線遮蔽ボード及び放射線遮蔽ボードの製造方法。【選択図】なし
