To provide a safety device for a sliding door which automatically prevents finger pinch without manually operating a stopper and enables smooth shutting of a sliding door by reducing resistances during shutting.SOLUTION: A safety device for a sliding door has a guide frame 11 and a feed plate 12, arranged at the opening side and the sliding door side respectively and facing with each other. The guide frame 11 has a slow-speed moving groove 38a and a locking groove 38b, and the feed plate 12 has an inclining contact face 12c which contacts the disk roller. When the feed plate 12 collides with the disk roller 14 with a strength equal to or more than a prescribed strength, a shaft part 14b of the disk roller 14 is moved from the slow-speed moving groove 38a to the locking groove 38b so that the disk roller 14 is locked and prevented from moving horizontally.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】ストッパーを手作業で操作しなくても自動的に指挟みなどを未然に防止し、また、引き戸を閉める際に作用する抵抗をなくしてスムーズに閉めることができる引き戸の安全装置を提供する。【解決手段】開口部側と引き戸側に別れて、互いに対向して取り付けられるガイドフレーム１１とフィードプレート１２を備えると共に、ガイドフレーム１１側に低速移動溝３８ａとロック溝３８ｂを設け、フィードプレート１２側にディスクローラと当接する傾斜しているコンタクト面１２ｃを設ける。そして、フィードプレート１２が、ディスクローラ１４に所定以上の強さで衝突すると、ディスクローラ１４の軸部１４ｂを低速移動溝３８ａ内からロック溝３８ｂ内に移動させてディスクローラ１４の左右方向への移動をロックするようにした。【選択図】図７
