To provide a cord braking device for restricting the movement of cords that suspend shielding materials so that the shielding materials does not move at an unnecessarily high speed, which is capable of reducing the size thereof.SOLUTION: The cord braking device is configured to convert the movement of lifting code CD into a rotational movement so that part of one gear and part of the other gear are overlapped in a direction parallel to the direction of the rotation axis of a drive gear 35, an internal gear 41, a planetary gear 5, a fixed internal gear 23, and a sun gear 71 which are configured to transmit the rotation to the weight 7a in order. With this, since the diameter of the fixed internal gear 23 arranged on the outermost side can be reduced, the cord braking device 1 can be reduced in size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 30
【課題】 遮蔽装置の遮蔽材が不必要に高速で移動しないように、遮蔽材を吊下したコードの移動を規制するコード制動装置の小型化を図る。【解決手段】 昇降コードCDの移動を回転運動に変換し、該回転をウェイト7aに順に伝達させる駆動歯車35と内歯車41、遊星歯車5、固定内歯車23、太陽歯車71のうちの一つの歯車の一部と他の歯車の一部とが、これら歯車の回転軸の方向と平行な方向で重ならせる。これにより、最も外側に配される固定内歯車23の径を小さくできるので、コード制動装置1の小型化を図れる。【選択図】 図30
