GLAZING GASKET FOR MULTI-LAYER GLASS, MULTI-LAYER GLASS WITH GLAZING GASKET, SASH, WINDOW, AND METHOD OF ATTACHING MULTI-LAYER GLASS TO STILE FOR SINGLE-LAYER GLASS
To provide a technique of changing a window to which a single-layer glass is attached to a window to which a double-layer glass is attached.SOLUTION: A multi-layer glass which is formed smaller than inside vertical and horizontal dimensions of a single-layer glass frame is prepared (Step A). A glazing gasket is attached to an outer peripheral end surface of the multi-layer glass (Step B). The glazing gasket includes a wide joining surface to be attached to the outer peripheral end surface of the multi-layer glass, a narrow convex portion projecting to a back side of the joining surface and inserted into and fitted in an opening of a concave groove of a frame, and a thick portion positioned at the joining surface side on a side surface of the convex portion and abutting so as to be placed on an opening edge of the frame, and the joining surface is attached to the end surface of the multi-layer glass. Then, the single-layer glass is removed from a frame 31, and the multi-layer glass with the glazing gasket 20 is attached to the frame in a state where the convex portion 12 of the glazing gasket is inserted into and fitted in the opening of the concave groove 32 of the frame and the thick portion 14 is placed on and abutted against an opening edge 33 of the concave groove (Step C).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】単層ガラスが装着された窓を複層ガラスが装着された窓へ変更するための技術を提供する。【解決手段】単層ガラス用框の内側縦横寸法よりも小さく形成された複層ガラスを準備する(工程A)。この複層ガラスの外周端面にグレイジングガスケットを取り付ける(工程B)。グレイジングガスケットは、複層ガラスの外周端面に取り付けられる幅広の接合面と、当該接合面の背面側に突出し、框の凹溝の開口内に挿嵌される幅狭の凸部と、当該凸部の側面における接合面側に位置し、框の開口縁部に載置するように当接される肉厚部とから構成され、接合面が複層ガラスの端面に取り付けられる。そして、框31から単層ガラスを取り外し、グレイジングガスケットの凸部12が框の凹溝32の開口内に挿嵌されると共に、肉厚部14が凹溝の開口縁部33に載置して当接された状態で、グレイジングガスケット付き複層ガラス20を框に装着する(工程C)。【選択図】図7
