To provide a light emitting building material capable of forming a space with beautiful and sophisticated impression.SOLUTION: The light emitting building material is formed by including a surface light-emitting panel 31, a panel holding part 30 holding the surface light-emitting panel 31, and a plate-like partition member 3. Here, the plate-like partition member 3 functions as a vertical plate-like member having a first main surface 3a and a second main surface 3b and partitions the space into a first space and a second space. Further, the surface light-emitting panel 31 comprises a light emitting surface including a light emitting area emitting light when being powered on and arranged on the second main surface 3b side in a way such that the light emitting surface faces the second space side. Then, when a direction perpendicular to the first main surface 3a is designated as a first direction and a length of the panel holding part 30 in the first direction is designated as L, no emitting area exits between the first main surface 3a and a position separated L/3 apart therefrom in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】美しく洗練された印象の空間を形成可能な発光建材を提供する。【解決手段】面発光パネル３１と、面発光パネル３１を保持するパネル保持部３０と、板状区画部材３を備えた発光建材を形成する。このとき、板状区画部材３は、第一主面３ａ及び第二主面３ｂを有する立板状の部材であると共に、空間を第一空間と第二空間に区画するものとする。また、面発光パネル３１は、点灯時に発光する発光領域を含む発光面を有し、第二主面３ｂ側にあって、発光面が第二空間側を向くように配する。そして、第一主面３ａに対して垂直となる方向を第一方向とし、パネル保持部３０の第一方向の長さをＬとしたとき、第一主面３ａから第一方向においてＬ／３離れた位置までの間に発光領域が存在しないものとする。【選択図】図３
