FRICTION STIR WELDING TOOL MEMBER MADE OF SINTERED SILICON NITRIDE AND FRICTION STIR WELDING DEVICE
To assure sufficient wear resistance of a sintered silicon nitride in a welding tool member.SOLUTION: A friction stir welding tool member comprising a sintered silicon nitride in which the sintered silicon nitride contains an additive component of 15% or less by mass other than silicon nitride, and the additive component comprises three or more kinds of elements selected from Y, Al, Mg, Si, Ti, Hf, Mo, C. Further, a content of the additive component is preferably 3% by mass or more and 12.5% by mass or less. In addition, a sintering aid component preferably comprises four kinds or more of elements selected from Y, Al, Mg, Si, Ti, Hf, Mo, C. According to the above-said configuration, a friction stir welding tool member having high durability can be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】接合ツール部材において、窒化珪素焼結体の耐摩耗性を十分とすること。【解決手段】窒化珪素焼結体から成る摩擦攪拌接合用説法ツール部材であって、窒化珪素焼結体は窒化珪素以外の添加成分を15質量%以下含有すると共に、添加成分はY、Al、Mg、Si、Ti、Hf、Mo、Cから選ばれる元素を3種以上具備することを特徴とする。また、添加成分の含有量が、3質量%以上12.5質量%以下であることが好ましい。また、焼結助剤成分はY、Al、Mg、Si、Ti、Hf、Mo、Cから選ばれる元素を4種以上具備することが好ましい。上記構成によれば、耐久性が高い摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材を提供できる。【選択図】 図1
