To provide an inspection port that waterproof function can be maintained over a long period by improving durability of the packing and workability in attachment of the packing is improved as well in an inspection port consisting of a receiving frame with a lateral receiving part and a lid supported by the receiving part of the receiving frame by interposing a packing and attached above the receiving frame.SOLUTION: A receiving frame 11 installed on the floor has a longitudinal receiving part 11b, an insole 13 having a packing 12 with a square shape in longitudinal section is installed above the receiving part and a lid 15 having a raising member 14 is attached on the insole. 【課題】横向きの受部を備えた受枠と、該受枠の受部にパッキンを介在させて支持され、受枠上に装着される蓋よりなる点検口において、パッキンの耐久性を向上させて防水機能を長期に亘って維持できるようにすると共に、パッキン取付時の作業性を向上させた点検口を提供する。【解決手段】床に設置される受枠１１は、縦向きの受部１１ｂを有し、該受部上に縦断面が方形のパッキン１２を備えた中敷１３が設置され、中敷上に嵩上材１４を備えた蓋１５が装着される。中敷１３の厚みＢと、嵩上材１４の厚みＣと、パッキン１２と中敷１３を合わせた上下方向の厚みＡは、Ａ＞Ｃ＞Ｂの関係に設定される。【選択図】図３
