To provide an apparatus suitable for investigating an inner wall surface of the turbid water pit.SOLUTION: The investigation apparatus 100 for investigating the inner wall surface B of the turbid water pit A comprises: a case body 11 provided with imaging means 12 in an internal space S1, an internal water supply device 15 for supplying fresh water to the internal space S1, a cushioning material 20 attached to a front side of the case body 11 and having a front surface in contact with the inner wall surface B so as to surround an imaging range on the inner wall surface B by the imaging means 12, a gap M for draining an area surrounded by the cushioning material 20, and an external water supply device 30 for supplying the fresh water into the area surrounded by the cushioning material 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
