DISTANCE MEASURING SYSTEM
To provide a distance measuring system that can ensure the communication performance of indoor ranging communication regardless of an open or closed state of an opening.SOLUTION: Two vehicle anchors 11 and 12 for transmitting and receiving ranging signals in a UWB band are installed in a passenger compartment. When a door is closed, only the vehicle anchor 11 is used and UWB communication (indoor ranging communication) with a portable device 2 is performed with the one vehicle anchor 11. On the other hand, when the door is open, since an effect of multipath cannot be expected, the vehicle anchor 12 is also used in addition to the vehicle anchor 11, and UWB communication (indoor ranging communication) with the portable device 2 is performed with the plurality of vehicle anchors 11 and 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
