To provide a ceiling board fall prevention structure which can be constructed from a ceiling rear side with respect to an existing suspended ceiling, which can reduce occurrence of cracks in the ceiling board, and which can reduce fall of the ceiling board even in the case where the cracks occur in the ceiling board, and a ceiling board fall prevention method.SOLUTION: In a ceiling board fall prevention structure in a suspended ceiling structure in which a ceiling board 27 is suspended and held, on the surface which becomes a ceiling rear side of the ceiling board 27, a surface material 11 in which a rope body 12 is embedded or joined is surface-joined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】既存の吊天井に対して、天井裏側からの施工が可能であると共に、天井板の割れの発生の低減や、天井板に割れが生じた場合にも天井板が落下することを低減することが可能な天井板落下防止構造及び天井板落下防止方法の提供。【解決手段】天井板27が吊られて保持されている吊天井構造における天井板落下防止構造であって、天井板27の天井裏側となる面に、索体12が埋め込まれている若しくは接合されている面材11が、面接合されていることを特徴とする天井板落下防止構造。【選択図】図2
