To provide a tool and a method for installing a plurality of fasteners with screws having an optimal coupling angle of high accuracy effectively.SOLUTION: An elongate adapter 410 has a proximal end part and a distal end part, a drive device 490 for generating torque to be attached to a first end part of the elongate adapter and a torque transmission unit engaging with the elongate adapter 410 and the drive device for transmitting the torque generated by the drive device 490 to a fastener. A fastener installation tool for engaging with the distal end part of the elongate adapter comprises a first member, the first member further has two projection elements positioned in the distal end part and the plane and a groove between the projection elements, at least one of the first member has a notch at the distal end part of a side facing the groove and a positioning member formed integrally with the first member, and the positioning member has a linear marker on a first side surface, an angled marker on a second side surface and a locker positioned between the angled marker and the groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
