EXPANSION JOINT FLOOR
To provide an expansion joint floor capable of effectively absorbing swing between skeletons due to an earthquake and the like and capable of resisting heavy load.SOLUTION: An expansion joint floor 1 joining skeletons neighboring via a gap 4 comprises: a plurality of slide beams 5 diagonally disposed between one skeleton 2 and the other skeleton 3 and slidably supported; a plurality of floor joists 6; and a center maintaining mechanism 9 comprising a plurality of pantograph-shaped link mechanisms. A central floor plate whose central part is pivotally supported and fastened by a floor joist 6C positioned in a central part of the gap 4 between the skeletons and an end portion floor plate which is positioned below the central floor plate and which overlaps with the central floor plate and can slide with each other are arranged. The pantograph-shaped link mechanisms are vertically disposed in a plurality of places below the slide beam 5 perpendicularly to the gap 4 between the skeletons. An upper part of the link mechanism is pivotally attached to a central part of the slide beam 5, and both end portions are pivotally supported on one skeleton 2 and the other skeleton 3 respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
