OVERTOPPING WAVE SUPPRESSING DEVICE
To provide an overtopping wave suppressing device capable of suppressing overtopping wave flow rate in a revetment and the like with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A wave suppressing member 2 including a protection portion 3 that is softer than a water facing wall face 10 on a surface is disposed along the water facing wall face 10 other than a mooring wharf. The wave suppressing member 2 is connected to the water facing wall face 10 by a mooring rope 5 which restricts the wave suppressing member 2 within a predetermined vertical range of the water facing wall face 10 and hangs so as to be floatable. A lower end position of the predetermined vertical range is set to be upper than a water surface WL of a water area which the water facing wall face 10 faces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡素な構成でありながら、護岸などにおける越波流量を抑制できる越波抑制装置を提供する。【解決手段】係船岸以外の臨水壁面１０に沿って、表面に臨水壁面１０よりも柔かい保護部３を有する波抑制部材２を配置し、この波抑制部材２を臨水壁面１０の所定の上下範囲に規制して遊動可能に吊下げる係留索５によって、臨水壁面１０に接続する。前記の所定の上下範囲の下端位置は、臨水壁面１０が面している水域の水面ＷＬよりも上方に設定する。【選択図】図１
