To provide a wash bowl that gives a feel of depth of earthenware.SOLUTION: A wash bowl 100 has a bowl part 101 recessed downward and comprises earthenware basis, an intermediate layer located at a surface side of the earthenware basis, and an upper glaze layer located at the surface side of the intermediate layer. The upper glaze layer is more transparent than the intermediate layer and is at the near side on the surface of the bowl part 101 when at least used by a user. A continuous inclined plane 101u recessed downward is formed at a portion visible by the user, and a tangential line of the inclined plane 101u is formed between 5 degrees and 75 degrees relative to the horizontal plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】陶器の「深み」を感じることができる洗面器を提供する。【解決手段】洗面器１００は、下方に凹むボウル部１０１を有し、陶器素地と、陶器素地の表面側に配置される中間層と、中間層の表面側に配置される上釉層と、を備えた洗面器であって、上釉層は、中間層よりも透明であり、ボウル部１０１の表面における少なくとも利用者が使用する際の手前側であって、利用者が視認できる箇所に、下方に凹む連続した傾斜面１０１ｕが形成され、傾斜面１０１ｕの接線は、水平面に対して５度から７５度で形成されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
