To provide a tongue which is light-weight and suitable for working for a long time.SOLUTION: A tongue A has base ends of a pair of holding arms 2 having a holding portion 1 at the tip end connected to each other to form a V-shaped or U-shaped body, and a biasing part 3 for biasing the holding portions 1 in a direction away from each other, the base ends of the pair of holding arms 2 made of aluminum or aluminum alloy being connected via a hinge member 4 made of synthetic resin having elasticity, the hinge member 4 configured as the biasing part 3, and the holding portion 1 configured such that a synthetic resin holding member 5 is attached to the tip ends of the pair of holding arms 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】軽量で長時間作業にも適したトングを提供すること。【解決手段】先端部に挟持部１を有する一対の挟持腕２の基端部同士が互いに連結されてＶ字状若しくはＵ字状体に構成されていると共に、前記挟持部１同士を互いに離反する方向に付勢する付勢部３を備えているトングＡにおいて、アルミニウム製若しくはアルミニウム合金製の前記一対の挟持腕２の基端部が、弾性を有する合成樹脂製のヒンジ部材４を介して連結されていて、このヒンジ部材４が前記付勢部３として構成され、前記挟持部１は、前記一対の挟持腕２の先端部に、合成樹脂製の挟み部材５が付設されて構成されているトング。【選択図】図１
