To provide a safety verification system of a mechanical parking device, a mechanical parking device, a safety verification method and a safety verification program capable of improving a reliability of a safety verification.SOLUTION: A safety verification system of a mechanical parking device having an entrance area (a front entrance area 20b and a rear entrance area 20a) where at least one of an entry and an exit of a vehicle is performed comprises sensors 23-26 arranged corresponding to a plurality of monitoring compartments A1-A4 preset in the entrance area respectively and for detecting a presence of an object in the corresponding monitoring compartment, a safety verification button SA1-SA4 arranged in the monitoring compartment respectively at a position where a human can verify a presence of an object within the monitoring compartment visually and to be operated after a safety of the monitoring compartment is verified by a human and a safety verification controller for activating the sensor arranged in the monitoring compartment corresponding to the safety verification button after the operation is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
