RESIN COMPOSITION FOR ARTIFICIAL MARBLE AND ARTIFICIAL MARBLE FROM COMPOSITION AND PATTERN MATERIAL
To provide an artificial marble resin composition capable of producing artificial marble having both heat resistance and design properties.SOLUTION: An artificial marble resin composition of this invention contains a pattern material 2 and a base resin 3. The pattern material 2 includes a plurality of pattern material particles 20. Each of the a plurality of pattern material particles 20 has a particle 21 and a coating layer 22 that covers the particle 21. The particles 21 include a first silicone resin 31 and colorant 41. The coating layer 22 includes a second silicone resin 32. The base resin 3 includes a third silicone resin 33. The first to third silicone resins 31, 32, and 33 contain an addition-curable silicone resin, respectively. The refractive index of the cured product of the first silicone resin 31 is different from the refractive index of the cured product of the second silicone resin 32. The refractive index of the cured product of the second silicone resin 32 is different from the refractive index of the cured product of the third silicone resin 33.SELECTED DRAWING: None
