To provide a heat insulation structure of a projected corner portion, which is constituted of an exterior wall and a roof of a building, capable of improving heat insulation effect of a whole building, by increasing the heat insulation effect of the projected corner portion, and the building.SOLUTION: A heat insulation structure 1 of a projected corner portion 10 is constituted of an exterior wall 20 and a roof 30 of a building 100. The roof 30 has a heat insulation layer 34a, and the exterior wall 20 has a heat insulation layer 22 arranged at the indoor side. The heat insulation layer 22 of the exterior wall 20 is continuously connected to the insulation layer of the roof by a heat insulation material passing through the indoor side of a skeleton 40 supporting the exterior wall 20 and the roof 30 and extending to a surface of the heat insulation material of the most indoor side in the heat insulation layer 34a of the roof 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
