FIRE-RESISTANT INSULATING SHEET, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF FIRE-RESISTANT INSULATING SHEET, AND FLAME RETARDANT REFRACTORY MATERIAL
To provide fire-resistant insulating sheet with surface strength as allowing its high fire resistance and high workability to be unchanged and further provide flame retardant refractory material using the fire-resistant insulating sheet.SOLUTION: Fire-resistant insulating sheet including: fiber sheet containing thermally expansive graphite and aluminum hydroxide; sodium silicate; and phosphorus or phosphorus compound, is from 35 to 85% in coefficient of water absorption of the fire-resistant insulating sheet. The coefficient of the water absorption exhibits a water absorption amount in the fire-resistant insulating sheet which has been soaked in water at room temperature for two minutes after placed under environment of room temperature and humidity for one hour, being represented by formula (1) where a weight before water absorption is a, and a weight after water absorption b.
