ONBOARD APPARATUS, PROGRAM, AND KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
To enable the position of a portable apparatus to be specifiable on the basis of the received signal strength of other request signals even when the received signal strength of a request signal cannot partly be obtained.SOLUTION: An onboard apparatus comprises: a plurality of transmit antennas; an onboard apparatus transmit unit for transmitting a request signal from each of the plurality of transmit antennas; an onboard apparatus receive unit for receiving, from a portable apparatus, an answer signal including received signal strength for each request signal transmitted from each of the transmit antennas; and an onboard apparatus control unit for calculating the distance to each area from the portable apparatus on the basis of the received signal strength of each request signal included in the answer signal and the respectively set reference value of received signal strength of each request signal, and specifying an area from among a plurality of areas to which the portable apparatus belongs. When the received signal strength of a request signal not included in the answer signal exists, the onboard apparatus control unit uses the reference value of request signals as the received signal strength of request signals when calculating the distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
