ROAD SURFACE PROFILE MEASURING INSTRUMENT
To measure an on-vehicle-type road surface profile having a high reproductivity in non-contact.SOLUTION: The measuring instrument includes: two non-contact displacement meters 21 and 22 for measuring the distance to a road surface; an inclinometer 23 for measuring the inclination angle of the non-contact displacement meters 21 and 22 in the arrangement direction; a distance meter 24 disposed in a vehicle including the non-contact displacement meters 21 and 22 and the inclinometer 23; and a calculation processing unit for receiving the data from the non-contact displacement meters 21 and 22, the inclinometer 23, and the distance meter 24. The travel direction of the vehicle is parallel with the arrangement direction of the two non-contact displacement meters 21 and 22, the measurement points of the two non-contact displacement meters 21 and 22 pass on a measuring line for measuring the road surface profile. The calculation processing unit synchronously acquires the data from the non-contact displacement meters and the inclinometer for each predetermined sampling period as the vehicle travels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
