To provide a window regulator that can sufficiently utilize the stroke of a spring for eliminating the looseness of a wire, and that can be manufactured with a smaller number of components and simpler work.SOLUTION: A window regulator 1 has a wire support part 20 including a direction change member 27 on which a wire 4 runs and which changes the direction of the wire 4, and a fixing member that is attached to one end of a guide rail 2 and that is provided with a guide part that guides the direction change member 27 to a predetermined fixing position. The direction in which the guide part guides the direction change member 27 is a direction of intersecting the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
