To provide a fireproof member and the like excellent in work efficiency and easily applicable to even a large-diameter through-hole.SOLUTION: A fireproof member 1 is constituted mainly of a fireproof material 3, an elastic member 7, and the like. The fireproof material 3 is an elastic and compressively deformable member. As the fireproof material 3, a fibrous member can be applied, for example, made from inorganic fiber glass wool, rock wool, or the like that is a shrinkable noncombustible material, fire retarding material, or the like whose volume is mostly occupied by air. Into the fireproof material 3, a thermal expansion member 5 is mixed. Small pieces of the thermal expansion members 5 are arranged in a distributed manner inside the fireproof material 3.
