To provide a closer for a sliding door capable of starting a low-speed automatic closing action at a stage when a door body is left after being opened, executing a braking action in a final closing range, and continuing to surely complete the closing.SOLUTION: Provided is a closing brake device comprising: a drive unit including a drive case, a center cam, a slide bit and a spring member; an interlocking gear unit formed by engaging a plurality of gears including a cam coupling gear, a rack engaging gear and a stepped gear; and a braking damper. Next, a rack receiving device including a rack member and an abutting member is provided. The closing brake device and the rack receiving device are distributively mounted on the door body and an upper frame such that the rack engaging gear and the rack member are in an engaged state. A rotation action of the center cam is obtained from an opening operation of the door body via the interlocking gear unit, resulting in a closing force to be accumulated in the drive unit, the automatic closing action is executed when the door body is left after opening, and the braking ation is obtained from an abutment of the braking damper and the abutting member in the final closing range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 戸体を開放後放置した段階で低速度での自動閉鎖動作を開始し、閉鎖最終範囲で制動動作を実施し、そのまま最後まで確実に閉鎖可能な引戸用クローザーを提供する。【解決手段】 駆動ケースとセンターカムとスライドビットとばね部材を有する駆動ユニットと、カム連結歯車とラック係合歯車と段付歯車を含む複数の歯車を噛み合わせた連動歯車ユニットと、制動ダンパーとを有する閉鎖制動装置を設ける。次にラック部材と当接部材を有したラック受け装置を設ける。閉鎖制動装置とラック受け装置を、ラック係合歯車とラック部材を噛み合わせた状態で戸体と上枠に振り分けて装着する。戸体の開放操作で連動歯車ユニットを介してセンターカムの回転動作が得られ、その結果駆動ユニットに閉鎖力が蓄えられ、開放後に戸体を放置した際には自動閉鎖動作が実施され、さらに閉鎖最終範囲で制動ダンパーと当接部材との当接により制動動作が得られる。【選択図】 図1
