To provide a simple window replacing method capable of replacing an existing sash and an existing frame with a new sash and a new frame.SOLUTION: Provided is a window replacement method for replacing an existing window 10 with a new window 110. The window replacing method includes: an opening forming step of forming an opening 11d in an existing sash 11; an existing sash removing step of removing the existing sash 11 by removing an existing sash fixture (rivet 90A) for attaching the existing sash 11 to a frame member 51 through the opening 11d; an existing frame removing step of removing an existing frame 20 by cutting an inner wall 30; a new frame attaching step of attaching a new frame 120 to the inner wall 30; and a new sash attaching step of attaching a new sash 111 to the frame member 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
