BOARD FOR CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING SOUNDPROOF FOAM
To provide a structure of a board for construction having a reinforced acoustic character.SOLUTION: A board is a gypsum board having an opposed decorative sheet and an intermediate curing gypsum core 22. An open cell polymer sheet 28 is formed in the gypsum core 22, and as the result, the board obtained has a reinforced soundproof performance. In alternative embodiment, an individual piece of a polymer foam is used in the place of the polymer sheet. In addition, various manufacturing methods capable of forming the board having the reinforced acoustic performance in a continuous process are disclosed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
