To provide an electrically-driven construction machine capable of further improving safety at the time of maintenance.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven construction machine comprises: a battery unit that houses a battery constituting a battery circuit; a service plug that protrudes outward from the battery unit and cuts off the battery circuit when being pulled out; and an external cover that covers the battery unit while exposing the service plug outward and has a presser part pressed from outward by the service plug. By removing the service plug, the external cover can be removed. Thereby, safety is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
