To provide a construction method of friction cutting in the ground capable of efficiently pulling a steel member out of the ground and burying it into the ground.SOLUTION: A construction method of friction cutting in the ground comprises: a voltage application step of applying direct voltage between an object member which is an object to be pulled out of the ground or to be buried in the ground and an anode member of which at least a part is buried in the ground at a position spaced apart from an installation position of the object member so as to make the object member a cathode and the anode member an anode; and an installation step of starting either of installations of pulling the object member out of the ground or burying it into the ground, during the direct voltage is applied within five minutes after applying the direct current voltage at the voltage application step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
