To provide a coat material peeling device which may not have risks to scatter a coat material peeled out of the device and to jet liquid in a direction of a non-coated surface when working on a coated surface at a corner of a structure.SOLUTION: A coat material peeling device comprises: a housing 2a having a circular opening plane 2v; a rotational body 2i arranged in an inner space 2t of the housing 2a and rotating with high-pressure liquid supplied from a high-pressure liquid supply device 200; and a jet nozzle 2j jetting the high-pressure liquid. Further, the coat material peeling device comprises a cover 20 covering an area S surrounded with a straight line L connecting a first portion P1 of a circumference 2u of the opening plane 2v and a second portion P2, and a circular arc E between the first portion P1 and the second portion P2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
