CARTRIDGE FOR WATER PURIFIER
To provide a cartridge 4 for a water purifier capable of preventing damage to activated carbon 8 caused by water hammer or a high water pressure generated when switching from raw water discharge to purified water discharge.SOLUTION: A cartridge 4 for a water purifier, replaceably housed in a housing portion 5 of a water purifier 1, includes activated carbon 8 for removing impurities from water, forms in the water purifier 1 a raw water flow path allowing raw water to flow downstream without passing through the activated carbon 8, and a purified water flow path allowing the raw water to pass through the activated carbon 8 and flow downstream, and includes a buffer portion 10d disposed upstream of flow path switching valves 15, 16 for selecting discharge from the raw water flow path or the purified water flow path in the water purifier 1, disposed downstream of the activated carbon 8, and blocking water hammer from the flow path switching valves 15, 16 to the activated carbon 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
