To provide connection fittings which require only a small height to lift a beam material and reduce the burden on a worker when the worker installing guard fences places the beam material on a beam material holding part, and which facilitate installation of the guard fences, and guard fences using the connection fittings.SOLUTION: A connection fitting comprises: a base part attached to a post; and a substantially cylindrical beam material holding part attached to the end of a beam material. The beam material holding part comprises: a beam material receiving part that supports and holds the end part of the beam material from below; and a cover part that covers the beam material end part and the beam material receiving part from above. The beam member holding part and the cover part are formed into a substantially cylindrical shape by a pair of half-split members. One side wall on the guard fence front side or back side of the beam member holding part is formed to be lower than the other side wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】防護柵を設置する作業者がビーム材をビーム材保持部に載置する際、ビーム材を持ち上げる高さが低くて済み、作業者の負担が軽くなり、防護柵の設置が容易になる接続金具及び当該接続金具を用いた防護柵を提供すること。【解決手段】支柱に取り付けられるベース部と、ビーム材の端部に取り付けられる略円筒形状のビーム材保持部とからなり、前記ビーム材保持部は、ビーム材の端部を下方から支持して保持するビーム材受け部と、前記ビーム材端部及びビーム材受け部の上方から被せるカバー部とを備え、前記ビーム材保持部とカバー部とは、半割り状の一対の部材により略円筒形状をなし、前記ビーム材保持部の防護柵正面側又は背面側のいずれか一方の側壁が他方の側壁よりも低く形成されるようにした。【選択図】 図３
