To provide a padding tool and a padding method capable of padding a hole of an outer wall of a building structure easily to maintain an excellent appearance of the building structure.SOLUTION: A padding tool for being struck into a screw hole for holding a scaffold formed at an outer wall of a building structure to pad the screw hole is characterized in that the padding tool comprises a body part in a shaft shape deforming so as to reduce an outer diameter and a head part jointing to one end of the body part. A padding method is characterized in that the padding method comprises a step of aligning another end part of the body part of the padding tool having the body part in a shaft shape deforming so as to reduce the outer diameter and the head part jointing to the one end of the body part with the screw hole for holding the scaffold formed at an outer wall of a building structure and a step of inserting the body part into the screw hole by striking the body part from the head part side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
