WATER SHIELDING METHOD AND WATER SHIELDING STRUCTURE OF STEEL SHEET PILE JOINT PORTION
To provide a water shielding method and a water shielding structure of a steel sheet pile joint portion capable of improving water shielding property while reducing construction labor.SOLUTION: A water shielding method of a steel sheet pile joint portion comprises: a spacer installing step, in a state where a P joint 120 and a T joint 110 are engaged, of installing a spacer on the T joint 110 in order to secure a first water shielding space surrounded by an inside face of the P joint 120 and a flange portion and a web portion of the T joint 110 in an inside of the P joint 120; a joint portion engaging step of making the T joint 110 engage with the P joint 120 via a slit 51 of the P joint 120; an inside slit closing step of installing a first shielding material 71 in the first water shielding space, to close the slit 51 from an inside of the P joint 120; and a step of installing a second water shielding material 70 in a second water shielding space surrounded by the inside face of the P joint 120 and the flange portion of the T joint 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
