METHOD FOR RECOVERING DIHYDRATE GYPSUM FROM WASTE GYPSUM BOARD
To provide a method for recovering dihydrate gypsum from a waste gypsum board that rapidly disperses gypsum grains into water by suppressing foaming when loading the gypsum grains into the water.SOLUTION: A method for recovering dihydrate gypsum from a waste gypsum board includes the steps of: calcining and converting gypsum derived from a gypsum board into hemihydrate gypsum grains and/or type III anhydrous gypsum grains; controlling temperature of the gypsum grains to 90°C or higher immediately before loading it into water, and mixing with water to form gypsum slurry; and precipitating dihydrate gypsum particles in the gypsum slurry.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
