To provide a structure for waste disposal which can reduce a load applied onto a roof of the structure for waste disposal.SOLUTION: A structure 1 for waste disposal includes a cylindrical wall body 2 which has such an inner space 7 that waste is disposed of thereinto and is extended under ground in a perpendicular direction, and a roof 3 which is provided so as to block an upper surface opening of the wall body 2 and allows the upper side to be covered with a cover soil layer Q. The roof 3 has a concave part 22 depressed to the lower side. A light-weight layer 9 which has a specific gravity smaller than that of the cover soil layer Q is stored in the concave part 22 of the roof 3 on the lower side of the cover soil layer Q. The light weight layer 9 is constituted so as to contain a plurality of blocks made of styrene foam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】廃棄物処分用の構造物の屋根にかかる荷重を軽減する。【解決手段】廃棄物処分用の構造物１は、廃棄物が投棄される内部空間７を有して地中を鉛直方向に延びる筒状の壁体２と、壁体２の上面開口を塞ぐように設けられて、上方が覆土層Ｑによって覆われる屋根３と、を有する。屋根３は、下方に窪む凹部２２を有する。覆土層Ｑの下方における屋根３の凹部２２内には、覆土層Ｑよりも比重が小さい軽量層９が収容されている。軽量層９は、発泡スチロール製の複数のブロックを含んで構成される。【選択図】図１
