To provide an opening/closing body driving device capable of smoothly meshing a driving gear and a driven gear, an assembly method thereof, and a door frame assembly.SOLUTION: The opening/closing body driving device includes: a driven gear extending in a driving direction of the opening/closing body; a drive gear that drives the opening/closing body along the driving direction by driving the driven gear; and a rotation drive mechanism configured so as to, when the drive gear is brought into proximity to mesh with the driven gear from the opposite direction, rotate the drive gear on the rotation axis in the direction orthogonal to the driving direction and the facing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
