To provide a folding type scaffold that can be easily folded and spread even if it is a large-scale type.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a folding type scaffold which is folded to a storage position from an in-use state when stored, and spread to an installation position when used. The folding type scaffold consists of: a fixed strut; a movable strut which moves between the storage position and the installation position; a left frame and a right frame which are coupled rotatably to the fixed strut and the movable strut; a scaffold plate which is built between the left frame and the right frame and rotates together with the left frame and the right frame; a wire rope which is used to move the movable strut from the installation position to the storage position and also to move the movable strut from the storage position to the installation position; and a drive part which is connected to one end of the wire rope, and takes up and pays off the wire rope to position the movable strut.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
