To provide a control method of a light-transmissive member, a control system, and a phase control device capable of reducing the size of a circuit for adjusting at least one of the brightness and the color of transmitted light.SOLUTION: A light-transmissive member 300 changes at least one of the brightness and the color of a transmitted beam in accordance with the voltage value of an input voltage V1. In the control method of the light-transmissive member 300, a phase control device 1 is electrically connected to an AC power source 100 and the light-transmissive member 300 therebetween. Also, in the control method of the light-transmissive member 300, the phase control device 1 controls the power supply period from the AC power source 100 to the light-transmissive member 300 for each cycle of an input voltage Vac input from the AC power source 100 to thereby control the voltage value of the input voltage V1 of the light-transmissive member 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
