SORTING METHOD OF MOLTEN STEEL LADLE SIDE WALL BRICK FOR LF PROCESSING, LF PROCESSING METHOD OF MOLTEN STEEL, AND MOLTEN STEEL LADLE FOR LF PROCESSING
To prevent erosion of side wall brick, and prevent joint dissolution loss of magnesia-carbonaceous brick lined in a slag line part, in a molten steel ladle for LF processing.SOLUTION: A sorting method of molten steel ladle side wall brick for LF processing is provided that comprises: a step of loading compressive stress of 1/3 of compressive-strength after firing magnesia-carbonaceous brick containing carbon of 10 mass% or more and magnesia of 80 mass% or more for 3-hours or more at 1600°C in the reduction atmosphere, and sorting the brick on condition that the distortion of the brick after the unloading is 0.5% or less; and a step of sorting the brick on condition that the maximum value in the thermal expansion coefficient measurement performed while loading the compressive stress of 0.2 MPa is in a temperature range of 1400°C or more and less than 1600°C after firing carbon-containing brick containing carbon of 5 mass% or more and fireproof raw material of 80 mass% or more for 3-hours or more at 1600°C in the reduction atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】LF処理用溶鋼取鍋において、側壁部れんがの侵食を抑制し、かつ、スラグライン部にライニングされたマグネシア−カーボン質れんがの目地溶損を抑制する。【解決手段】カーボン10質量%以上、およびマグネシア80質量%以上を含有するマグネシア−カーボン質れんがを、還元雰囲気中1600℃で3時間以上焼成した後に圧縮強度の1/3の圧縮応力を負荷し、除荷後のれんがの歪が0.5%以下であることを条件として選別する工程と、カーボン5質量%以上、および耐火原料80質量%以上を含有するカーボン含有れんがを、還元雰囲気中1600℃で3時間以上焼成した後に0.2MPaの圧縮応力を負荷しながら行った熱膨張率測定における最大値が1400℃以上1600℃未満の温度範囲にあることを条件として選別する工程とを含む、LF処理用溶鋼取鍋側壁部れんがの選別方法が提供される。【選択図】図1
