METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FOOTREST MEMBER, AND FOOTREST MEMBER
To provide a method for manufacturing a step footrest member by coating a core metal with synthetic resin, without complications in the structure and control of a molding device, and provide a footrest member.SOLUTION: A core metal comprises a main body member having a rectangular cross section made of metal, and a metal sheet member that is fixed at both ends of the main body member, and has a hole that allows an end of a connection member of a step to be inserted through it. The sheet member is fixed to both ends of one of the four sides of the main body member, the core metal is placed in a molding recess of the lower mold, the peripheral part surrounding the hole of the sheet member of the core metal placed on the lower mold is held between a stepped portion of a stepped member provided to the lower mold and a holding member provided to the upper mold, and the molding space is filled with a synthetic resin for molding. In this way, a footrest member of the step is manufactured. The footrest member has high strength since the core metal is covered with a synthetic resin except the peripheral part of the hole in the ring-shaped portion of the sheet member of the core metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】成形装置の構造や制御が複雑でない、芯金を合成樹脂により被覆してステップの足掛け部材を製造する方法および足掛け部材を提供する。【解決手段】芯金が、金属製の断面が矩形である本体部材と、該本体部材の両端部に固定され、ステップの接続部材の端部が挿通できる孔が形成された金属製の薄板部材とからなり、該薄板部材は、該本体部材の4側面の内の1側面の両端部に固定され、芯金を下型の成形凹面に配置し、下型に配置された芯金の薄板部材の孔を囲む周縁部を下型に設けられた段付き部材の段付き部と上型に設けられた押さえ部材とで狭持し成形空間に合成樹脂を充填して成形してステップの足掛け部材を製造する。足掛け部材は、芯金の薄板部材のリング状部の孔の周縁部以外の芯金が合成樹脂で覆われているから、高強度である。【選択図】図6
