To provide a vehicle control system that is convenient and uses an electronic key.SOLUTION: The vehicle control system includes an electronic key 2 that can wirelessly communicate with a vehicle 1, and a communication terminal 3 that can wirelessly communicate with the electronic key 2. The communication terminal 3 includes: a specific input unit that receives specific input for making the vehicle perform particular processing, the specific input being for processing items that indicate details of the processing performed; and an instruction transmission unit that transmits, to the electronic key 2, processing instructions that indicate the processing items input from the specific input unit. The electronic key 2 includes a command transmission unit that transmits, to the vehicle 1, processing commands that indicate processing items corresponding to processing instructions when receiving the processing instructions from the communication terminal 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A-1B
