To provide a solid oxide fuel cell having a cell structure where an increase of leakage current due to thinning can be suppressed while ion conduction resistance due to thinning of an electrolyte in a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is reduced.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell includes: an electrolyte layer formed by stacking two or more solid oxide layers; a cathode; and an anode. The solid oxide fuel cell is characterized in that the solid oxide layers are formed of solid oxide materials having band structures different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
