The monolithic refractory for a blast furnace runner cover comprises A2Ol3, SiC, SiO2, C, and the like, where Al2O3 is the main component, or comprises one or more kinds of SiC, SiO2, and C in addition to Al2O3. 【課題】 本発明は，耐火物の損耗をより少なくすることによって、高炉樋カバーの寿命を延ばすことを目的としている．【解決手段】 本発明がとった解決手段は，耐火性骨材、耐火性超微粉および結合剤からなり，化学成分がA2Ol3,SiC,SiO2,Cなどで構成され，Al2O3を主成分とする不定形耐火物において，または化学成分がAl2O3以外にSiC,SiO2,Cの１種類以上からなる高炉樋カバー用不定形耐火物において，結合剤としてセメントを使用せずに、シリカゾルを適用することである。【選択図】なし
