METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING FALLING OBJECT PREVENTION FENCE
To provide a method of constructing a falling object prevention fence in which a wire net can be easily and safely installed from a road side, for example, when constructing a falling object prevention fence on a viaduct.SOLUTION: In a method of constructing a falling object prevention fence, which is constructed by fixing a furring strip 5 between posts and attaching a wire net 6 to the furring strip 5, a bolt 7 is first fixed to the furring strip 5 with a furring strip nut 1; the furring strip 5 with the threaded part of the bolt 7 facing a road, is fixed between the posts; the end of the wire net 6 is inserted from the road side into the threaded part together with a pressing metal fitting 8; a pressing metal fitting nut 2 is then screwed into the threaded part and the pressing metal fitting 8 is tightened; and the wire net 6 is attached to the furring strip 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
