To provide a door locking/unlocking detection device capable of eliminating wiring work thereto when installing the door locking/unlocking detection device on an existing door and allowed to have a function to access the Internet alone using a wireless LAN.SOLUTION: The door locking/unlocking detection device including a wireless LAN connection function is configured to reduce current consumption by starting a CPU so as to execute radio communication only when door locking/unlocking is detected and by stopping operation of the CPU and radio communication in a period where door locking/unlocking is not detected, in order to enable continuous use for a long period of time while using a small battery as a power source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
