To provide a water closet device that can discharge sewage with a small amount of wash water in an emergency, without using a flapper valve in normal use and without installing an open/close valve at the bottom of the trap flow channel.SOLUTION: A water closet device 1 has a bowl section 6 having a discharge port 6A at the bottom, a drainage trap flow channel 8 having a first descending conduit 8A, an ascending conduit 8B, and a second descending conduit 8C continuous with the discharge port 6A of the bowl section 6, and a bypass flow channel 14 connecting the ascending conduit 8B to the second descending conduit 8C and allowing sewage to be discharged by head pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
